🎉 NEW PRE-SEED INVESTMENT 🎉
We are thrilled to announce our latest investment in MagiQware, a DeepTech company specializing in AI-driven software for fault-tolerant quantum computing. They secured €575K in a funding round with participation from Graduate Ventures, Ground State Ventures, LUMO Labs, and additional investors currently joining the round.
❓ Why we invest – Fault-tolerant quantum computing holds enormous commercial promise, but resource costs remain a major barrier to real-world impact. MagiQware is addressing this head-on by optimizing magic state factories, a critical building block for scalable quantum systems, using advanced AI techniques. Their work is bringing commercially useful quantum applications meaningfully closer to reality.
💡 Market – The quantum computing market is expected to grow exponentially over the coming decade. As the industry moves towards commercial deployment, reducing computational overhead and improving error correction will become essential. MagiQware is positioning itself as a critical software provider within the quantum stack, serving full-stack quantum computing companies that need specialized optimization without developing it in-house.
❕ Technology – MagiQware develops software within the quantum computing compiler and software stack, using a hierarchy of reinforcement learning agents to optimize magic state factories dynamically. By reducing the resources required for quantum error correction, their technology enables quantum computers to run useful algorithms far more efficiently, with early results already demonstrating up to a 40% reduction in circuit length for target magic state factories.
👥 Team – MagiQware is led by CEO Arash Ahmadi, PhD and CTO Shakeeb Majid, and further strengthened by Sahar Hejazi (PhD) (Head of Device) and @Ali Moghaddam (Head of Theory). Together with an outstanding advisory board including Ali Bahramisharif, PhD, Prof. Dr. Stacey Jeffery, and John van de Wetering, the team brings together world-class expertise across quantum computing, AI, software engineering, and commercialization, combining deep academic foundations with strong industry experience.
