โ
โ ๐ช๐ต๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐๐ โ Every year, millions of women experience peripartum and postpartum depression, yet todayโs care is still largely reactive. DecipHER is tackling this major unmet need by developing a way to identify women at risk before symptoms become a crisis. By enabling earlier intervention and more personalised care, DecipHER has the potential to transform maternal mental healthcare.
โ
๐ก ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ โ Womenโs health remains a significantly underserved market, with postpartum depression affecting an estimated 10โ20% of mothers worldwide. With around 130 million births every year globally, DecipHER addresses a massive healthcare challenge and aims to become the missing diagnostic layer for maternal mental health.
โ
โ ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ โ DecipHER is building a proprietary AI platform that combines questionnaire data with biological markers from blood samples collected during pregnancy and postpartum. By analysing hormones, immune markers, metabolites, and genetic information over time, the platform identifies biological signatures linked to depression risk and translates them into actionable care recommendations.
