This year the Philips Innovation Award came up with a completely new concept of the Semi-Final. In seven weekly episodes, 30 young entrepreneurs pitch their idea in front of the jury consisting of successful entrepreneurs and industry experts from companies such as Philips, ABN Amro, KPMG, Wavin and NS. The first episode was broadcasted on the 15th of April. Each week a new episode is shown on the website of the Philips Innovation Award (www.phia.nl). During the series we will find out which 3 rough diamonds and 5 innovators have earned a golden ticket for the Grand Final on the 31st of May and are therefore one step closer to the main prize of 10.000 and 50.000 euros.
